WoW! I didn't expect a story like the one Ms. Fisher delivered! It was filled with scientific jargon which could be fairly well translated, and all the more believable. When Annie realizes what James is her reaction is very real, as is her epiphany later on. The two of them have an intense relationship that seems almost to be the work of fate, and the romantic scenes are hot. I simply could not put this one down. Thank you, Ms. Fisher, for a romance that brings science fiction and time travel together so beautifully. This one goes on my 'keeper' shelf. Very highly recommended!

Time travel never looked so great! Story was well developed yet still felt like a wonderful romantic read. Did not want it to finish! Don't pass this book up and miss out!
The heroine, Annie, finds a handsome naked man in her kitchen who claims to be from the future. Of course she doesn't believe him and thinks he's crazy or an amnesiac. The hero, James, is from the future and is the only survivor of a holocaust/genocide during his time. He goes back in time in order to try and change the future. The chemistry between Annie & James is undeniable and the sex scenes won't disappoint!
Please let me know if it redeems itself in the end but I couldn't get past the part where the big secret is revealed. It was weird and totally took James' sex appeal away. I usually LOVE Ellen Fisher, she's steamy, romantic and sexy and a fun quick read, but somehow I missed the appeal of this one.
I bought this book on impulse. I love time-travel romance books, and the description of this one fit the bill. I love the unique twist that this story has, but I don't want to spoil it for readers. I like how the author dropped clues, but still left doubt so I had to keep reading to find out if my suspicions were correct. That's good storytelling.
I enjoyed the book and it'd make a great summer read on a lazy afternoon.
This was a different take on androids. It was okay, but slow in places and it didn't capture my interest as much as many other sci-fi romance book have and do. The interesting part was how it all fit together, the mystery of it. I didn't get a strong sense of the couple really being in love. Didn't really care for them.
It's worth a read just because of the mystery aspect and how it all fits together.
This was my first romantic sci-fi novel. I love all of the twist and turns that this book provided. A few of the twist and turns were not a surprise to me at all. The book begins as a very nice slow romantic novel. Once the tempo picks up, it continues at a very fast pace almost to the very end. There is a brief moment near the end in which the novel is somewhat slow but picks up quickly to the very end. To me, this was a nice Sunday afternoon reading book. It was very easy to read and flowed very nicely. The author makes all of the characters come alive. I especially liked one of the last characters introduced in the book. There was a time when I thought that Annie was very pathetic too lonely and would have falling in love with anyone that came to her door. At other times, she was a strong tempest in control of her life. I am not sure if this type of sci-fi romance novel I would want to read again. I will definitely look at something else from this writer.
When I first started reading this book I wasn't too sure about it. It started off like a lot of other time travel romances, you know way too handsome hero the heroine just can't resist even though she has no idea who he is or where he comes from. Well, didn't he have a few surprises up his sleeve, oh he wasn't wearing any, was he? I don't want to spoil the story for anyone else by revealing any of them, suffice to say it will keep you reading well into the night to reach the end of this incredible roller-coaster of a ride that takes you into the future, alternative reaiites and back into the past again, with plenty of steamy sex scenes and romantic interludes. Well written and researched. I'm buying a hard copy for my to keep shelf.
